My primary role at Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. is to assist you by listening to your financial needs and to craft investment strategies to help you achieve your financial goals. This strategy will be adapted to your unique situation. It will evolve over time as your life changes and the financial markets change.
If you are not yet a client, your first and most important step is to call for a complimentary appointment. Nothing can happen until you take that initiative. What you need to bring to that first meeting is whatever information that you feel comfortable sharing. Typically, this may include:
• Current Financial Account Statements (brokerage, bank, etc.)
• Insurance and Annuity Contracts
• Real Estate Holdings
• Income and Taxes
• Retirement Accounts
• Estate Planning (wills, trusts, inheritances)
If you can't find some of these papers, don't worry. It's more important to make the appointment, bring what information you can and, most important, bring your ideas, goals, dreams, questions, and enthusiasm.
